Hey Everyone,

I recently purchased my new Canon 6D. Its been a dream camera of mine for a little while now so i was excited to get my hands on it and see what it was capable of.

I opened up the box when it arrived and instantly found myself feeling like a fish out of water. The Canon 700D which i had previously been using was extremely easy to grasp and get the hang of whereas the 6D took me a while to figure out and get used to.

I took it out that evening for a quick walk as i wanted to see what it was capable. The results blew my mind. Paired with a 35mm f1.4l lens the image quality was so crisp and clear.

I took the first image (on the left) with the 6D and the 35mm f1.4l lens, threw it into Lightroom and started editing away. After an hour of editing i had reached the end result (on the right.)

I absolutely loved how the 6D captures this strange looking tree and makes it stand out from the background.

I haven’t had enough time to give a full conclusion on my thoughts regarding the 6D but from what i have seen so far, the investment was well worth it! I would recommend it to anyone that wants to take their photography game to the next level!
